Troubleshooting

Call forwarding is active but my phone still rings

You may have set unconditional forwarding (*72 / *21*) but calls still ring briefly. Switch to no-answer forwarding (*71 / *61*), your phone rings 4–5 times first, then Katch picks up. Or use unconditional if you want Katch to answer immediately without ringing.

Dial code not working

Some carriers require the full E.164 format: +1XXXXXXXXXX. Try entering the number with the +1 country code. Also confirm you're pressing the green Call button after dialing the full code, don't just type it in the keypad.

Carrier says call forwarding is blocked

Some prepaid and MVNO plans restrict call forwarding. Log into your carrier account online or call customer service to confirm the feature is included on your plan. Most postpaid plans support it at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dial *72 followed by your Katch forwarding number to forward all calls immediately. Dial *71 before the number to forward only when you don't answer. Dial *73 to cancel. Or use the My Verizon app under Account → Call Forwarding.
